Stevens Sporthorses is an NZTR Acknowledged Retrainer for off the track thoroughbreds plus offers schooling, lessons and sale on behalf. Our goal is to train with kindness and empathy for the horse and to help match them with their perfect human. We also school, train horses across multiple disciplines and compete showjumpers and eventers throughout the season. We are located just 30km north of Taupo, in New Zealand. Stevens Sporthorses is primarily run by Kelly Stevens. Kelly is a full-time rider and trainer, competing nationally. At any one time, she is schooling young horses of her own, coaching riders or schooling horses for sale. Kelly always puts horses first.
